Before September 11th 2001, it was just the 254th day of the year (255th in a leap year) …nothing special… then just like that … two planes hit the World Trade Center Towers, they crash down, thousands dead, lives lost, and we now know of that day as simply… 9/11. Soul Men!! New Movie!!
Soul Men, is a new movie about a popular soul band from the 70’s getting back together for a reunion concert (more info on the movie after the jump). This is one of Bernie Mac’s Last performances in a Movie before his death. It looks really funny, but if you’re a Bernie Mac fan it could end up being a tear jerker. Samuel L. “The World Stands On It’s Head”
Being the Artsy person that I am I just had to share this to you all! This House was Built Entirely UPSIDE DOWN, opened its doors this week in Germany, named “The World Stands On It’s Head”. This family sized house, designed by a couple of Polish designers, is furnished with chairs, tables, and carpets stuck to the ceiling. Even the Bathroom is upside down!! The designers said, they didn’t do it for a reason, they just wanted to do something different. Now, if that ain’t some badassness (uh oh watch out diddy), i don’t know what is!! My name is Daniel Dudley, but you also may know me as D.D., and a ton of other nicknames! I LOVE THE CLEVELAND BROWNS, NOTRE DAME Football, ARIZONA Basketball, & I Hate The Steelers!! I work part-time for 1250 ESPN Radio & Radio Disney AM540 in Pittsburgh. So basically, i listen to people talk about sports and rock out to the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana and get paid for it.
I’ve wanted to be a Reporter/Anchor since I was in 5th grade and I couldn’t see myself doing anything else (btw if you know anyone that can hook me up with a job…holler). But right now I just check TVJobs.com every 5 minutes for openings and send resume tapes and dvds out to TV stations(i spend so much money in shipping).
I am a May 2008 Graduate of the Gina Martino Dahlia School of Broadcast News @ West Virginia University. The most ”Slept On” broadcast news program in the country and the #4 Party School in the country… What can i say? I took the #1 ranking with me when I left!
My ispirations for this blog are hiphopgame, kanye west’s blog, pittsburgh puck talk (HEY CHRISTINA!!), Andy Warhol’s Interview Magazine, and my brain constantly telling me to write stuff down!
