Please Pray For Those Being Affected By Hurricane Ike…
PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT OF YOUR TIME TO PRAY FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY HURRICANE IKE! As we speak Hurricane Ike is crashing through the Houston area of Texas at a Category 3 Hurricane, possibly category 4, with winds of 110 mph! As I am writing this at 1:40am, it has already taken the lives of 10 people. Reports that I am hearing say that this storm could end up being worse than Hurricane Katrina. Also, Weather Officials have warned the people who stayed behind that they “face certain death.” (there were even townies telling people to write their Social Security Number(s) on their arm(s) if they are staying) Keep in mind, Galveston, Texas, the area the storm is to hit first, was where “the big storm” hit in the 1900s, taking the lives of nearly 12,000 people. If you haven’t got it yet…THIS IS MAJOR! I had close family friends that had to evacuate today and they, as well as thousands of others need your prayers. Pray for the disaster relief volunteers that will arrive in the Houston area in the coming days as well.

So, as you may know if you have read the “about” section on my blog or my first blog post, you know I am in need of FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT at a News Station or somewhere I can talk on air (tv or radio)!! I recently sent out resume tapes to Norfolk VA, Lynchburg VA, Virginia Beach, Hunt Valley MD, Oak Hill WV, Lima OH, Lansing MI, and Midway FL. And I’m about to send in a tape for the Real World season 22! Yeah, it’s that serious now people!! I am pleading with you, if anyone reading my blog right now can get me a job doing something in broadcast (or knows somebody who can) I would owe them my life! I have a bachelors degree, I’m willing to relocate, I’m outgoing, smart, funny, and pretty damn hott on certain days of the week. Ok…most of you may be saying why is he doing this? Or why did he say he was hott? But if you know me, you know I AM DESPERATE FOR A JOB!! But as the cameras roll, the duo begin to sense that they may have more feelings for each other that they previously thought. This movie looks HILARIOUS!! I work part-time for 1250 ESPN Radio & Radio Disney AM540 in Pittsburgh. So basically, i listen to people talk about sports and rock out to the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana and get paid for it.
I’ve wanted to be a Reporter/Anchor since I was in 5th grade and I couldn’t see myself doing anything else (btw if you know anyone that can hook me up with a job…holler). But right now I just check TVJobs.com every 5 minutes for openings and send resume tapes and dvds out to TV stations(i spend so much money in shipping).
I am a May 2008 Graduate of the Gina Martino Dahlia School of Broadcast News @ West Virginia University. The most ”Slept On” broadcast news program in the country and the #4 Party School in the country… What can i say? I took the #1 ranking with me when I left!
My ispirations for this blog are hiphopgame, kanye west’s blog, pittsburgh puck talk (HEY CHRISTINA!!), Andy Warhol’s Interview Magazine, and my brain constantly telling me to write stuff down!
