Associated Press Poll: Barack Obama Could Lose 6% of Votes Because He’s Black!? It Is What It Is…

   If you don’t wanna hire someone into your company because they’re black …OK it’s wrong…but it only affects YOUR Company.  If you don’t want to let your child date someone that is black…wrong again…but it only affects YOUR Situation.  If you don’t wanna vote for a Nominee for President of the United States because they are black…wrong also (catching the pattern)… difference is, this decision not only affects you it AFFECTS THE WHOLE DAMN COUNTRY!! 

   Seriously?!  In the world today?  In this election?  Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama could lose because of his color!!  If you are reading this as if I’m surprised…you’re wrong, but I am ashamed!  Face it the great U.S. of A is all fucked up right now… economy, mental health care, war, pick one!  We need to choose someone that can fix those problems, and there are people out there who have the audacity to put the issues on the back burner and think what color is the guy I’m voting for? 

   This post isn’t about voting for Obama, McCain or even The Green Party Nominee, but it’s about people doing what is right.  I don’t care who you support, just don’t be one of those people that are ignorant, stupid, etc. and support a candidate simply because he is NOT BLACK or because he IS BLACK. 

   I know most of you probably won’t get past the first paragraph, because I’m talking about the huge elephant in the room in this election.  You may also be thinking that D.D. is stupid for saying all this, frankly, because no one is gonna care.  And you’re probably right.  But with all of that being said, I hope the 6% and probably more of you that will choose race over issues, know where your ignorance will take this country in the future.  …It Is What It Is..
