D.D.’s 10 Thoughts On College Football: Week 5

Let me be the first to say, that D.D. was very very very wrong!  If you read last weeks predictions, I said that Florida and USC were the best teams in the country… Well they were both upset, along with some other powerhouses!  But that is why I LOVE COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!  Anyhow, this weeks thoughts will have a nice tone to them, definitely rated PG, because my Notre Dame Fighting Irish Haven’t Looked This Good Since 2006!!  Enjoy, D.D.’s 10 Thoughts On College Football Week 5!

1. Notre Dame rocked Purdue last weekend!!  I mean rocked them!!  The defense actually looked respectable, The running game looked good, and Charlie “could lose a few pounds” Weis, finally took the ‘cuffs off Jimmy Clausen and let him do his thing!!  38 points on a good Purdue Team!  And just by looking at the rest of the schedule… 10-2? BCS Bowl Game?  Sky’s The Limit for My Irish!!
2. Alabama, could be the real deal!  I don’t wanna jump on the band wagon just yet, because they have a ton of young ball players, but it’s so hard not to!  They DESTROYED #3 GEORGIA!!  Completely exposed them.  But they have to get through a tough SEC Schedule, while relying on a lot of young talent!
3. USC lost to Oregon State, sucked, but it’s an early season loss and they are still inside the top 10, but more on that later.  But the big problem is they lost Maualuga, the best Linebacker in the country!  That could end up hurting them more than the early season loss!!
4. Poll Voters Are Retarded!!  BALL STATE SHOULD BE RANKED IN THE TOP 25, SOUTH FLORIDA SHOULD BE #7 AT THE LEAST, USC SHOULD BE OUT OF THE TOP 10, & ALABAMA SHOULD BE #1 (Because Oklahoma has played nobody and Alabama has blown out 2 top 10 teams this year!)
5. Michigan upset a top 10 team in Wisconsin this weekend, with a slow quarterback that rushed for 89 yards, running the spread offense!!  So next year when Shavodrick Beaver (nasty QB from Texas) comes in…WATCH OUT NATION!  Rich Rod is killin’ it! 
6. I’m still not sure if UCONN is good…but hey… they are undefeated!
7. What happened to Florida’s Offensive Line!?  No offense to Ole Miss, but 4th& 1 with Tim Tebow, and you can’t convert?!  Really?!
8. Javon Ringer from Michigan State…if you don’t know him google him!  He is a flat out BEAST/TANK/HOSS or whatever!!  He carries the ball over 40 TIMES A GAME!! He could end up being the first player that has his legs literally fall off during a game!  He’s My Heisman Winner Right Now!
9. WVU needs help!  They haven’t looked good in one game this year!  And if Marshall’s QB didn’t suck that game could have been a hell of alot closer!  And if the defense isn’t ready look out for Rutgers’ Recievers, Britt & Underwood!
10. PENN STATE IS THE REAL DEAL!  NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP?!  JOE PA, COACH OF THE YEAR!?!

BCS National Championship Game Prediction:  Penn State vs. BYU …Big Ten vs. The Wac (really!?)
